When Christina Inman purchased two investment properties in Newport Beach, she needed an expert contractor to renovate the outdated interiors—and update the plumbing and electrical—in order to transform the homes into showpieces she could turn for a profit. But not just any builder would suffice. Busy with careers in both the real estate and mortgage industries, Christina needed a company who would accommodate her hectic schedule. And, her background in interior design meant that the contractor she chose would need to work hand-in-hand with her to turn her vision into reality. After meeting with James Lepak, Christina knew that she had found exactly what she was looking for in JDL Construction. After the dust had settled, what emerged from two outmoded properties built in the late 1960s were two gorgeous 21st century treasures.
First, JDL's expert demolition crew took the interior of this house down to the studs, rafters and sub-floor to bring the plumbing and electrical up to current standards. Then, the entire interior was rebuilt from the ground up in the eclectic Tuscany-style Christina had envisioned.
As with the Candlestick property, JDL completely gutted the home on Antigua Way before installing new plumbing and electrical and transforming its interior into the beautiful Cape Cod-influenced masterpiece you see above.
JDL Construction did such a wonderful job with my first major reconstruction and was such a pleasure to work with, that I have since hired them to complete four more extensive renovations. I have entrusted JDL Construction with five high-end residences over an eight year span and will only use JDL on future projects. I refer them to everyone I know, and again, they always do a fantastic job. It’s hard to find an honest construction company that truly cares about quality workmanship; when you do, you have found a gem worth hanging on to.
